Meet Kia!

About Kia Perry

I am an intuitive aromatherapist and a flower essence practitioner. I’m a safe space holder. A heal and chill retreat host. I’m a divine being having a human experience. I enjoy asking questions that have you dive deeper into your personal healing. Im a product of having both sets of grandparents growing up. It's an honor to have herbal remedies from my grandmothers which I can share with you all through ancestral whisper. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York by way of seeing the world in color.

What brought you to flower essence therapy?

This healing work has always been traced back to my personality and character. As a child my grandparents called it “gifts”. Creating herbal tinctures, playing and mixing different scents and drinking teas with my grandmother was a thing. I became a teen and those things became less cool. My light stayed within and shined less.

Then, full circle, in my adulthood healing jumped back at me when I had to heal myself. I opted out of western medicine. I found flower essences through Lindsay Fauntleroy and her amazing book "In our Element," which then brought me to the Spirit Seed. I told myself I was just going to take one class, and before I knew it I was learning how to practice this medicine and share it with others!

How would you describe your approach?

I approach my practice with a genuine heart. I enjoy conversations with depth, and I ask the right questions at the right time. Most people want to share- I’m not judgmental and I tend to make folks comfortable to be around. I enjoy working with woman of color, and I enjoy holding space through retreats in and outside of the US. I also love working and partnering with other healers, and being in community.

What flower essences are you loving these days?

I’m so glad you asked! I’m a hug fan of Yarrow, Pink yarrow and Golden Yarrow. This combo has allowed me to show up different with less emotional attachment. The auric protection and force field was truly felt this summer and my voice was heard.
