About Amylisse Torres-Watts

Amylisse Torres-Watts is a Certified Advanced Biofield Tuning Practitioner, Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Master Teacher, and Flower Essence Practitioner. Her interest in holistic wellness started in her early 20s when she was searching for answers to her own chronic health issues- a journey that has led her to the subtle energy healing arts. These modalities have been life-changing, helping her to heal the physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional. They have led her on this journey of supporting and empowering others so that they too may live a more vibrant, joyful, and aligned life.

How would you describe your approach?

My goal during our work together is to provide a sacred container for you to do your healing work in. A place where you feel safe, supported and honored. My approach to healing is integrative and multi-layered, with a focus on ancestral/intergenerational and past-life healing work. Through this lens, I explore how our lives and health are impacted by the trauma, behavioral patterns, and limiting beliefs that we inherit and carry in this lifetime. As we clear, release, and heal these issues we begin the work of embracing our gifts, reconnecting with our intuition and stepping fully into who we are meant to be in this lifetime.

What wisdom lineages inform your practice?

The wisdom lineages that inform my practice are many- including the Afro-indigenous Earth based healing traditions that I learned from my Abuelos and my practice of Usui Reiki Ryoho. My Abuela had such a gift and connection with plants, which she learned growing up in the countryside in Puerto Rico, even growing a coffee plant in her tiny apartment in El Barrio. I wanted to connect to this rich ancestral Earth based wisdom that my Abuela had and I knew was in me as well. Flower essences have helped me do just that and are still helping me heal this core wounding.

A few favorite books that are currently on rotation are Decolonizing Therapy by Jennifer Mullan, Spirits Come From Water by Ehime Era, Earth and Spirit: Medicinal Plants and Healing Lore from Puerto Rico by Maria Benedetti. and Espiritismo: Puerto Rican Mediumship & Magic by Hector Salva.
