Meet Kelsie!
About Kelsie Walda
Throughout her childhood, Kelsie Walda constantly doodled spirals and flowers in the margins of her notebooks. These symbols moved with her through life, evolving into a lived expression when she discovered the subtle yet transformational medicine of flower essences.
As a flower essence practitioner, Kelsie combines plant wisdom and archetypal imagery to build confidence as she guides others through the ever-expanding and contracting rhythms of life. With a special affinity for artists, neurodivergent folks, and ravers, she creates customized vibrational remedies that support emotional balance, energetic resilience, and deeper connections. She aims to create a non-judgmental atmosphere of acceptance as she helps clients attune with their intuition and authentic expression.
Her work is informed by her own experience as a highly sensitive and neurodivergent person. With a history of childhood trauma, chronic health challenges, and a life-altering accident, she is on a life-long journey of building resilience and compassion. She found deep healing by connecting to the natural world and the inspiring power of vibrations – from the delicate pulses of flower essences to the booming beat of a dance floor speaker.
As well as communing with the flowers, Kelsie cross-polinates her special interests of astrology, mysticism, and depth psychology. You can also catch her grooving on the dancefloor or in the booth as DJ Chia Pudding.
How did you find flower essences?
“I've always known that I was more sensitive than the average person. Growing up, I always saw my hypersensitivity as a defect. By my teenage and early adult years I accumulated many unhealthy behaviors and habits to cope with the consequences of having a delicate nervous system in a loud world. I didn’t feel comfortable being myself much of the time. But as I grew older, I began to understand that it could be a strength and started learning how to support myself and unmask.
Doing yoga, meditating, and reconnecting with dance allowed me to become more embodied and present which led me to start noticing subtle vibrational energies, especially in plants. This awakening coincided with me moving away from my rural birthplace to a large city—something I had always wanted to do but which felt bittersweet given my new perceptive abilities. I was lucky to be introduced to flower essences not long after my move. I was unsure but open to them. Soon thereafter, I was transformed into a true believer given the powerful effect they had on me. Flower essences are supportive in helping me to expand my capacity and become more of mySelf.”
What flower essence has impacted you the most?
Golden Yarrow was the first flower essence I took. It can be helpful for those who are oversensitive and have trouble sharing their creativity openly. I had always felt really shy discussing my creative work up until then. I was skeptical when I started taking it and after a week had almost forgot that I was taking it. But I suddenly found myself at a party talking about my poetry to someone naturally. It didn’t feel forced by any stretch. Flower essences became an obsession after that!
