  • Founding Director of the Spirit Seed

    Lindsay’s approach to soul medicine is grounded in over 15 years of clinical practice, her current doctoral studies, her sacred study with elders of the Ifa tradition, and her commitment to community wellness. She is a fierce advocate for reclaiming ancestral knowledge systems as tools for personal evolution and collective liberation.

    Lindsay is currently a doctoral candidate for a PhD in Depth Psychology with a Specialization in Integrative Healing Therapies. Her research explores the use Flower Essence Therapy as a decolonial approach to psychotherapy. One of her greatest joys is supervising advanced students in the Spirit Seed clinical residency, as emerging practitioners bring the soulful work of Flower Essence Therapy to diverse communities around the world.

    You can find Lindsay featured in ESSENCE magazine, as a thought leader on numerous mind-body podcasts, and as a regular host on Sirius XM's Urban View. Her line of alchemical Five Element flower essence remedies, the Elementals, are available nationally and internationally. Her book In Our Element: Soul Medicine to Unleash your Personal Power is available in English, Portuguese, Arabic in print, digital and audiobook formats.

  • Guest Presenter: Demystifying Shamanism

    Granddaughter Crow (Dr. Joy Gray) is an international award-winning author, teacher, and podcaster. As a proud member of the Navajo Nation, she comes from a long line of spiritual leaders - raised in deep reverence for nature and spirit. She integrates her cultural foundation with academic and leadership expertise in works like *Journey of the Soul*, *Wisdom of the Natural World*, *Belief, Being, & BEYOND*, and *Shamanism & Your Shadow*. Her honors include being listed in Who’s Who in America, named Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women, and membership in the Delta Mu Delta Honor Society.

  • In Our Element Co-Facilitator

    Mia Herndon (she/her) is focused on the healing of people and systems as a licensed acupuncturist, somatic coach, facilitator, and worker in social movement organizations.Currently, Mia is the Associate Director of Organizational Development at Right to the City Alliance, which is a national alliance of tenant unions, housing justice non-profits, and land justice cooperatives fighting to replace the current land & housing system with one that is permanently affordable, democratic, and sustainable. Mia is also on the board of Black Feminist Future which is galvanizing the social and political power of Black women, girls, and gender-expansive people toward liberation.  Mia has 20+ years of experience in community-based, state, and national social justice and philanthropic organizations focused primarily on feminist praxis, reproductive justice, criminal injustice and youth organizing. Mia lives in Canarsee/Lenape occupied land (Brooklyn, NY) and was raised in Atlanta, GA (Muscogee).
